Bottle of Black and White

I have an old unopened bottle of Buchhanan's Black and White Scotch Whisky. It was bottled at the Glentauchers Distillery so there is no date on the bottle. On the top of the bottle it has a label by appointment to her majesty the queen. From what I have read online it is probably from the 50's. The one odd thing I found from looking at other bottles on line is that they all show the proof on the label and my label/bottle has no proof on it.

How can I determine the exact age?
How can I find out the proof?
How can I find out what the bottle is worth?

We can see about having your bottle dated (and about proof), but need photos first. Let us know if you need help.

Here are the pictures from the Bottle. If you need any further information I will try. Also on the label is a 48 (towards the bottom) which i have not seen on any other label.

Your Black & White whisky bottle has been dated from the mid 1950s – early 1960s. :D
