hello I'm wondering if I am wasting my time saving this old bottle could anyone help me it's boxed and
Pictures to follow!
I'm located in NSW Australia an I received this off a friend so I'm unsure where it was brought

I see you've not had a response.

Perhaps one of the reasons you haven't received a reply is that the Forum you posted in is dedicated to single malt Scotch, not blends. In other words, many might consider the question off-topic.

Beyond that, the simple answer is that no whisky gets better in the bottle.

I would open this bottle.

Diaego have now replaced the Gold18yr with Gold Reserve, and they also have a 18yr Platinum label.

Both do not taste as good as the Gold 18yr.

Just my opinion :)

Nat, we can see if we can have your bottle dated. However, the bottom line is likely, open and enjoy. :)

This pack design was introduced in 2000, therefore your bottle has been dated from that period. Enjoy! :D
