I Can't Find Any Info
 

Could anyone give me any information on my bottle of Scotch? Its an 11 year old fine single malt scotch whisky. Knockando 1969. bottled in 1980. Distilled and bottled in Scotland by Justerini & Brooks Ltd. It has the wax seal on it which has never been broken. It has two sets of numbers on the wax seal. One on each side. One reads NY-I-49I and the other reads 085758098. It does have a State of Wisconsin Seal on the side of the bottle with numbers stamped on it that read 13594345. Does anyone know what this is worth or where potential buyers would be? I hope I posted this in the correct section and forum. I'm sorry if I didn't. Thank you. Still nobody? Could anyone point me in the correct direction to find out what this may be worth? Thanks again.

Knockando was actually the first distillery in all of scotland to be built with Electricity in the early 1900's. Its right off Speyside way in Scotland right next to Tamdhu station and i was unable to find anything about current operations but it would seems that it is closed currently so your bottle might have some added value if you can find the right buyer

Knockando is part of Diageo's Classic Malts Selection. I will see if I can gather some additional information regarding your bottle for you. As for value, you may also want to try www.bonhams.com and/or www.mctears.com.
