Whisky Collection

Hi, My dad has given me 9 bottles of whisky from his collection, some were only available as exports.
I have a Bowmore 30 year old (export) with a dragon on the box and on the bottle,
a Bowmore 25 year old with a picture of a night time sea side resort with a seagul on the box ( think this was for export to )
I have a J&B 20 year old in a royal doulton bottle ( white with a green chinese pattern) the box also has a seperate cork and a booklet that is in either chinese/Japanese as well as English.
i have a 21 year old Glen Garioch single malt boxed
12 year Cardhu single malt boxed
Johnnie Walker Gold label 18 year old boxed
Lagavulin 16 year old boxed
Glenlivet George Smiths original 1824 boxed
Johnnie Walker swing superior boxed
I would be grateful if anyone could give me a clue as to what to do with these and the rough value if i sold them. can send pictures if that helps.
many thanks
D

Why are you selling the scotch your dad gave you? Are you mad at him? Does he know you don't like scotch? Does he expect you to keep those bottles for him to drink when he comes to visit?

I'm confused....

I would interpret that his dad wanted to gift them to his children over his remaining time. It may be more of a tax reason. Would like to know also.
