1940's John Haig & Co. LTD Blended Scotch Whiskey

My uncle has had this bottle of whiskey since 1975. It's an unopened bottle that was originally imported for King Farouk of Egypt. The bottle was part of the King's collection and remained opened this whole time. My uncle is looking to sell this bottle and wanted to contact the owners of the John Haig Company to see if they would like to add this to their collection. I believe the company is now part of the Guniness organization, but I’m not certain. Any assistance on obtaining a valuation on this item would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the Whisky.com Forum. I've upgraded your status.

You metioned that it has been opened since 1975? Do you have a picture to post?

Thanks for the photos! We will see if we can find information for you and whether Diageo will want for their archive department, but keep in mind, we are not offering valuations at this time (and neither does Diageo).
