Not New To Single Malt But Due To Chemo

for lung cancer has changed my taste profile .

now enjoy those single malts with a citrus, sherry and carmal tones and finish.
No longer enjoy peaty malts just lost taste for smoke also.
Suggestions for single malts with that profile in the price range of 50-200 dollars us.

Sorry to hear that but glad you are still well enough to enjoy a nice dram!

Ones I've had that I've enjoyed and would suit your taste profile: Cragganmore 12, Murray McDavid Mortlach bottlings, Highland Park 18, Macallan 18/25...all these definitely have citrus and/or caramel overtones...

Yep that sucks but as said, still enjoying life I see.

I put a vote in for something from The Balvenie collection. I have and enjoy the Cragganmore, but I prefer the bottle of Balvenie 14 year Golden Cask slightly (though it seems to get mixed reviews - there are other Balvenie options with lots of fruit and toffee, and without the peat).
