Need Help Dating an Old Black And White Bottle

Our neighbor gave us an old bottle of Buchanan's Black and White scotch (still sealed).
I am wondering how old it is, and can you tell if it was sold in the US or
Britain?
And is it at all valuable?
I'd appreciate your help - I have no idea what we have here.

PS - trying to find the "paperclip" to attach photos,... but don't see it here.
Is it only available once the thread is posted? Will try to get the photos loaded

When you post/reply on Whisky.com, and need to attach/upload photos, look
at the very bottom of the page for a button marked "Manage Attachments".
Click this and wait for the new window to open, from there you can select & upload photos from your computer...Easy as 1-2-3 !!!

These photos do not show up untill you "preview" or "submit" the posting!

Black and White bottle

windswept11,

Your Black & White bottle appears to be a US/Canadian version, which is marked "Blended Scotch Whisky";
versus the UK version which would have been marked "Choice Old Scotch Whisky".

From the markings on the labels, this was produced between 1955 and 1966.

***I suspect that this may have been made for the Canadian market, as the labels do not mention the US
distributor (Fleishmann Distilling Co.) which had been shown on all Black & White bottles since 1936.
