Platinum Label vs. Gold label

Hi everyone!
Does anyone have taste the new platinum label? What is the difference with the old 18 y/o Gold label? is it the same blend? some different?

They are two different items. I think Diageo just missed out... Leave the Gold Label without the 18 years leyend its wrong for those, including me, that love to drink that whisky. And change the flavor.... Even worst!!
The new Platinum dont like me a lot. They put a screw cap, with the plastic regulator inside, instead of the corch cap... Wrong!!!
I think... Its this just merchandising (more money)? Or they really think in the consumer taste?

They are in fact very similar according to me.
