Dewars White Label 26 3/4fl oz
I have found an old bottle of Dewar’s White Label and wonder how old it is. Unfortunately the posting rules do not permit me to attach an image so I will try to describe it as best I can.
At the top of the label is the royal crest above a ‘chain’ of medals won by the whisky. Under these is the name of the whisky in the format Dewar’s FINE SCOTCH WHISKY “White Label” Under this is the name & address of the company and lastly the alcohol content & volume of the bottle (70o proof 26 3/4fl oz). Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Graham |
If you post some photographs then we may have a better chance of identifying it, use This link if you have problems

Dewar's White Label
Graham,
Based on the Main-label only, this bottle was produced sometime after 1972. (By 1973 Dewar's had removed the term "distillers" from their main-label.) Additionally, I believe that the "26 2/3 fl. ozs." was changed to metric units about 1978. Cheers, Walter C Hurst wchurst@hotmail.com |
