Johnnie Walker Black value

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news on this bottle, but unfortunately it would
not be considerd a collectable as a whisky, largely in part by the amount of
evaporation that has taken place.

Most collectors will only acquire sealed bottles with a fill-level that exceeds
the lower portion of the bottle's "shoulders"...anything lower in content level
is surely to have suffered considerable "oxidation", which creates a strong
"iodine" like taste that is very hard to palate.

If there is any value to be found in this bottle, it would be in the appreciation
of the bottle alone (empty) as a collectable...I would recommend seeking out
one of the Bottle Collecting Clubs that can be found in most areas.

Cheers,
Walter C Hurst

Hi, can you send a picture of the whole bottle in one photo to me and indicate the fill level - I can give you an estimate then. opdenkamp@btinternet.com
