Where Can You Find Collectible Whisky/Bourbon Other Than Ebay
 

Hello, I am new to the Whisky.com forum.

I have a small collection of whiskey or whisky and bourbon and I'm always looking for other bottles to add to it. I like the old sealed unopened bottles and I like the Prohibition era. The only place I have been able to find any collectible bottles is on flea bay. Is there any other place where you can buy, trade and sell collectible unopened bottles at a decent price?

I've actually used craigslist to find most of my collection. I posted a "Wanted Ad" and every now and then people would email me with what they have.

That's a brilliant idea! What kind of bottles did they come back with?

HOLY HELL! I would have never thought about doing that. I just might steal your idea. Which part did you post in? General wanted or collectible wanted?

Mine was just in the general wanted.

I own a 1987 Riverboat Captain decanter (90 proof, 1.75l) and a 1984 Inaugural decanter (45%, 1.5l - rare export version). Both are unopenned, in their original boxes and have the tags. The tags still have the registration bits, and neither has ever been registered! They are both in great condition, with the exception of the boxes being banged up. I am interested in selling these items.
