Please help me age this bottle of JW Red (pics inside)
Greetings.
I cracked this bottle open. After hearing favorable reviews f the 1960/1970s JW Red, I was hoping this bottle was from the same era on taste, there is a HUGE difference to modern Red. Very smooth, no harsh bite, the nose and the taste at the tip of the tongue has very large vanilla hints. Just a great sip. I'm by no means a whisky connoisseur but these are just my humble impressions  http://i.imgur.com/dD7ak.jpg http://i.imgur.com/sDavR.jpg http://i.imgur.com/QwhWi.jpg http://i.imgur.com/IAerI.jpg http://i.imgur.com/0qxMZ.jpg |
Thanks for the images, we will have your bottle dated for you! :)

Judging from your US Tax Stamp, this bottle should date between 1967-1983.

Johnnie Walker's parent company stated... "From the design of the labels and the closure being used I would date your bottle from c1968." :)
