Age of Long John Scotch bottle?

5 Attachment(s)
Does anyone has any information as to the age of this bottle? The labels are quite worn, but the front label says "Grand Old Whisky, Long John, (Black Label), Long John Distilleries Ltd., (Distilled and Bottled in Scotland)". There is also a label on the back of the bottle with a purity certification from the British Analytical Control (see photos). The bottle was sealed with a driven cork and lead capsule, but I opened the bottle and tasted some of the contents as it leaked during shipment (the whisky has a lovely peaty quality to it!). The bottle itself appears to be approximately 12 ounces in volume, from a two-piece mold, and is marked on the bottom with the following:

C 8
A562
UGB

Any information would be greatly appreciated!
