Help dating Dimple whisky with box please?

Hi,

My sister and I have inherited some Dimple Haig Whisky. I was thinking 1950's/60's? What do you think? http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/i...s/IMG_1087.jpg

Thanks

:)

Dimple dating

Nice large photo, but unable to see the detail of the labels clearly...

Can you read the top label and tell me what it say after "By Appiontment..."

Also on the bottom label, it should have a notaion of the alcohol content/proof,
if you could provide that it would also be helpfull.

Most likely your bottle was produced between 1953-1960..but will know more whaen we can review the additional information.

Cheer,

The bottle itself appears to be the design used from the mid 1950s until the mid 1960s. The Diageo Archive Department narrowed down the approximate date further as the box pictured is from the early 1950s, so the bottle must be an early example of the mid 1950s design. :)
