1981 bottle of Seagrams V.O. Canadian Whiskey

I found a bottle of 1981 bottle of Searams V.O. canadian whiskey in my grandfathers basement. The bottle and lable are in mint condition and the seal is still intact. I was wondering how much this is worth?

Seagrams V.O. 1981 Bottle

I love hearing of these little family treasures poping up. For myself when going threw my grandfathers basement I found a loose stone in the wall and there was a bottle of Corby's Royal Reserve.

Now a 750ml bottle of Seagrams V.O. bottled today costs about $23.00 Cdn. so if you have a bottle from 1981 than it should be the same flavour and quality as the one bottled today. Whiskey does not age in bottles so no additional character will be introduced to the whiskey... You may at Auction fetch 30.00 + dollars at auction but as this was your grandfathers I'd keep the bottle and have a drink once in awhile and toast his memory.

Enjoy it!

Regards, Eric
