1936-38 Johnnie Walker Black

Hello,

I have a sealed bottle of this...

------------------------
Lot 597 Pre-War Black Label Johnnie Walker Black Label, 'By Appointment to the Late King George V', with label bearing the arms of Kilmarnock, with squirrel supporters and the motto 'Gold Berry' which dates it to 1936-38. No strength or capacity stated; stopper cork with lead seal on yellow ribbon to open capsule.
£400-500

-----------------------

The auction estimate is probably quite high and I am not sure of the year the auction took place. (as I imagine these things fluctuate)

The label on mine is faded but legible.

I am thinking of selling it, but don't really have a good idea how to go about it. And when I think of the challenges of shipping it somewhere safely, I get quite worried.

I live in Phoenix, AZ. If anybody has any ideas on a good route to part with this at a fair price, I am all ears.

Thanks.
