Dessert Anyone?

I have my Whisky for dessert, nearly every night. Great nightcap, soothing and comforting. I have tried several single malts and several blended, but I am still searching that "one" perfect desert Whisky.

I would be delighted to here of the collective experience and opinions for the perfect dessert dram. Realize that I always have mine with a double splash of mineral water. BTW, I have been enjoying Whisky for over 47 years. (Legally.)

Cheers Mates, Dave

These two immediately come to mind: Johnnie Walker Gold and Dalwhinnie. :)

Hi Dave,

If you're in the UK and can find a bottle of Edradour's, Straight from the Cask bottling of their Sauternes finish... Fantastic expression and simply the best Sauternes finished whisky I've had (don't waste your time with Glenmorangie's).

Other suggestions might include some sherry cask whiskies. I'm a fan of Glenfarclas, the Gordon & Macphail 15 year Mortlach bottling is devine, any Longmorn bottling, Aberlour...

Good tipping!

More Dessert

Thanks Jojo...as luck would have it, I do have some Dalwhinnie and it is indeed very good.

And for Dale - Cheers Mate, I will be in Suffolk, UK in two weeks, for two weeks and will hunt down your suggestions.

Dave
