Maker's Mark Green wax only
 

Hi all, I need help with Maker's Mark. I have 2 of these bottles marked "Limited Edition" and they have only green wax. They are 101 proof, and one bottle is empty now (it was delicious....). A highly collectible bottle - very rare from the 1970s, it was the first version of Maker's Mark's 101 proof bottle - later dipped in gold wax. The gold wax 101 was discontinued in the mid 90s.

From memory the green wax is now [was] used on their special Mint Julep that they produce for Kentucky Derby week
