I've recently received a bottle of blended scotch Haig & Haig from a 80 year old woman who told me she's had it sitting in her cabinet for "quite a while." From what I see on the seal, it says 4/1/89. How much is this worth?

The label states
" one quart 86 proof"
"Five Star"
Blended Scotch Whiskey
100% scotch whiskies
blended and bottled by
Haig and Haig
Markinch Scotland

sole USA distributors
Renfield importers, UNION, NJ

The label is sealed with "US INTERNAL REVENUE" 4/1/89

Unless the bottle is very old [pre 1930's] then there's usually not much value in a Blended Whisky. Someone may want it to complete a collection but Haig's was a secondary whisky not one of the major brands so I doubt it.
Best advise is to have a dram and enjoy it with friends
