What year was this Royal Salute Bottle made
Hi, I picked up this bottle today in a Seattle thriftstore. I notice the coat of arms on the front is not like that of most of the bottles I found on line. Please someone tell me about it.

Thanks for the photo links - we will see if we can have your bottle dated.

We found it your bottle looks as if this is one of the first edition Royal Salutes that date from 1953-54 and therefore very rare nowadays. It’s certainly not in the best of condition but was in a thrift store after all. We're told it might be somewhat more valuable than what was paid for it from the store - - but as for a specific value or even range - we don't know. Try contacting Digger at bottlebooks.com - he might be able to help.
