Laphroaig Cairdeas

Has anyone tried this limited bottling for 2011 yet? Big Laphroaig fan here, and curious to see how it stacks up to the Laph 10yr, 18yr, Quarter Cask, and Cask Strength.

Laph 18yr and 10 yr Cask Strength are my favorites so far...

I had some at a whisky tasting last month. It was nice, certainly powerful and medicinal as you'd expect. It tasted a bit young and spirited, though not "too young". I'm sure you know what I mean. It seemed to lack complexity. I liked the triple wood better. That's all I remember, not one for my cabinet.

thanks thats helpful. i was given a bottle over thanksgiving, havent opened it yet. I'm sure it won't go to waste... although hard to see anything beating the 10 yr cask strength, which is settling in as my favorite scotch (just ahead of the 18 yr).
