I just want to know if anyone is familiar how much this whiskey is worth? I have tried searching all over the net and can't find anything similiar to the bottle of this 17 years old ballantine's whiskey. I'm not sure if this is that rare or just a replica. Thanks!

Hi Jonzi, this is the standard Ballantines 17 YO in a pottery jug. It's been produced in various colours and shapes for at least 40 years but this one dates from 1995 or later. There should be a red wax seal on the cork and the carton should contain a plug cork with a pottery top to match the colour of the jug. Although not rare there were never many made but they only go for the normal cost of a standard bottle of 17YO. If I was you I'd just drink it.
