Teachers Blended Scotch Whisky

shazndave-

There is a "Teacher's 50" (the "50" referring to the 50% malt content, not the age, which is 12yo) and it's only available in India. Other than that, the only Teacher's currently on the market is Teacher's Highland Cream, which is available in markets around the world.

The brand owner for Teacher's is Beam Global Spirits & Wine, Inc. If you want to contact them direct, fill out this form:

Good luck!

Teachers 60

Standard Teacher's (Highland Cream) has a very high malt content -over 45%.
In India there is a premium version that has a 50% malt content. In the early 80's there was a super premium with a 60% malt content - called Teacher's 60. The shortage of available single malts at the time caused its withdrawal

Just to clear up the Teachers varieties. Teachers Highland Cream has a minimum of 45% malt, Teachers 50 has a mimumum of 50% malt Teachers Original [launched last year in India] has a mimimum of 65% malt and Teachers 60 did have 60% malt but was only bottled for a couple of years in the mid 1980's.
Being Teachers every style has/had the malt content on the label and have done this for the past 60/70 years and possibly longer and is the only brand that I know of that states this. There are a couple that hint that they have more but have never come out in print with an actual figure.
I hope this clears any problems
