Another Black & White Whiskey - trying to find the age...

New to this forum, I found this Black & White Whiskey while cleaning my grandmother's. It's never been opened and looks really interesting. She received it as a Christmas gift and I wonder if even at that time it was a bit of an antique. I have pictures! (But don't yet know how to load them.)

Hi Gail & LSappa - Whisky.com can have your bottles of Black & White dated, but we do need photos. To upload photos onto the forum, click on the paperclip icon - a new window will open. Browse for the photo on your computer. If it's too big, the system will let you know. Re-size and try again. Once it successfully uploads, close the window. Then put the mouse on the body of the message where you want to insert your photo. Go back to the paperclip icon and click on the image link - insert. If you need help, let me know!

Black & White bottle

Gail, your bottle of Black & White dates from between 1955 and 1965. And just some additional info on the closure being used - it's called a ‘kork’n’seal’ –which is a bit confusing as there’s no cork involved, but this was the brand name of these caps. Black & White phased out the kork ‘n’ seal during the end of the 1960s and early 1970s and began using the screw cap. ;)
