Anyone Interested In Writing Short Reviews? :)

Some of my buddies got together from grad school and started a blog to review our favorite whiskies, scotches & bourbon. It all started because one of them, Zach, was from the University of Edinburgh (of course).

We're enjoying getting together and writing these reviews, but theres only so much I can drink in a night or afford while in grad school. I was hoping someone here might be interested in writing short reviews to be published.
Please email me if you're the least bit interested awhiskeydrink@gmail.com. I'm proud of our little site. www.awhiskeydrink.blogspot.com

Whisky.com has been a wealth of information. Particularly Jojo's post on samples. http://www.whisky.com/forum/showthread.php?t=35263

Thanks everyone! :)

PS My studies have made me well versed in Native American Foods, but we could really use some of your guidance to help us on this journey into all things whisky

I write up reviews on all my whiskies, and post them to my profile page HERE.

I could cut and paste, I suppose, or just authorize you to do it for me and give me the bi-line. ;)

Hey Jwise,

Thanks for the offer. I looked through your site and you have some great reviews. If you wouldn’t mind, I’d write some of them up on my blog and give you all the credit and links. I’d also add a little research into the distillery on my part because that’s part of what I’m interested in.

If that sounds good to you, I’d really appreciate it and would hope to send some viewers/readers your way in return.

That's not my site, just my profile page of the website. Use as many of my reviews as you would like. I have posted some here, on this site, but not all.

Hey Jwise,

I came across a several scotches to sample here lately, some good fortune I guess! but I really appreciate the offer. Us Texas folk have to stick together from time to time :)

How did you get into scotch on the other side of the world, if you don't mind me asking?

I'm not sure. I didn't like beer much at first, so I started trying out different drinks. I stumbled through some tough terrain until I found whiskey. I liked it alright, and got along with a few. When I had the opportunity, I tasted and liked Dewar's White Label, Famous Grouse, and Johnnie Walker Black. I found myself trying to order from a menu once, and couldn't make heads or tails of the Scotch list. I decided that I needed to find a decent one that I could probably find most places, so I started with Glenlivet 12yr. The rest is history...

I ended up drinking wine in London and Ireland because of the crowd I was with. I had a few beers. Everyone complained they were malty and a bit sweet, but I didn't mind compared to our overly hopped American variety.
