grand old parr

Hi there ,
I,m the new "kid on the block"
I have a bottle (never opened )of Grand Old Parr rare old Antique whisky purchsed in 1970 ....70% proof....26 Fl Oz.
There is no indication of how old the Whisky is inside, the label is the original, but not like the label on the 12/18 yr old bottles. Is there anyone out in "Whisky World" how has any information on this product and of course does it have any value.
have a nice day
Cheers...... macryder:cool:

Just drink it. I don't think it has collectable value.

Old Eck on Old Parr

Old Parr was one of Distillers Company Ltd (DCL) de luxe blends ; up to the late 1970's these were usually 5yo but there was no age statement , now they are 12yo:)
