Wow, that'S a BIG photo!

Hm, thought I had the solution it a few times, but the label did not fit in size or colour...

So we have a Whiskey starting with "M" and ending with "S"...second line "O", I guess "old scottish.." DO you know where the people shopped before the new year party?

I see Red Bull from Austria, a "REAL"-Supermarket Bag in the corner, some turkish boxes...are you from Germany or Austria?

It would help to guess where they shopped, then check their offers from December...

PS: that must have been a goood party :D

Hi Jojo, was tempted to resize it too :D ..did it on myPCalready, when looking at it yesterday...

Well, this is quite a nice riddle here....but at least I found a name which would fit....unfortunately, it is also one of the most famous (recently) whiskeys due to Mr Shakleton:

MACKINLAY'S
OLD SCOTCH WHISKEY

But the bottle fromthe party has the more "common" shape, and is missing the red "label" or ensign near the neck on the one below...

Maybe a fake whiskey?
