Neighbor's Bell's 8
 

My neighbor asked me to research his bottle of Whisky. He recieved this as a gift 20-30 years ago as a gift and has held onto it. He was wondering if you all could date the bottle and give an estimated value. I noticed that you were able to do this for a handful of other people. I have images of the bottle and labels (what is left) but the posting rules says I do not have permission. I have put the information below that I think you may need. If you need the pics uploaded I can do that but need additional information about how to gain permission.

We found out that what you have is a pretty old bottle, but an exact date could not be determined. However, it's estimated to be dated from c1955. And by the way, you don’t see too many examples of Bell’s 8 Year Old in this square shaped bottle these days. ;) If you want your bottle valued, try bonhams.com or mctears.com - and of course share your findings with us!
