Rarest Macallan Auctioned off for $460,000 - setting new record!
 

Yep, $460 big ones - to an anonymous US bidder. Wow. :eek: And....all for a GREAT cause....all proceeds from the sale going to benefit 'charity: water' which brings clean water to communities in developing countries. :)

I strongly suspect that the bidder was a collector of Lalique crystal and not scotch. I wonder if he/she would consider selling the contents?

The macallan 64 years old sold for $460,000.
