Old Charter 7 years old

1 Attachment(s)
I have come across a bottle of Old Charter 7 Years Old bottled in October 1955. This bottle is still in its original box and seal is intact. It has been stored in a dark room for all of these years. Does anyone know how much this bottle is worth?

Unfortunately....

With a little math, one might conclude that you have a 60 year old bottle of Bourbon on your hands. Unfortunately this is not the case.

What you have is a really old bottle of 7 year old Bourbon. Once bottled the aging can't continue.

Like anything collectable, it's worth exactly what someone is willing to pay for it. That being said, you might start with contacting the distillery: Buffalo Trace

Buffalo Trace Distillery
1001 Wilkinson Boulevard
Franklin County, Kentucky 40601

Good luck, but I think you might just have a fun heirloom to keep on your shelf, provided it stays unopened. In the event that it becomes a permanent resident in your home, go ahead and make up a good story.

I've got a collector's bottle of Jim Beam aged 80 months thats in a bottle shaped like a Ford Thunderbird, painted up with chrome and wheels that spin. Label intact. I haven't made up a story yet, but rest assured, it'll be a doozie.

Name your price

I would be willing to buy it if you are willing to sell it.
