70 Years old Whisky From Scottland ??? Please Help a German
 
Hello,

my name is michael, i´m from germany.
I have tried to get informations about my found whisky in germany. But without success. Please help me.

Did somebody knows bottles like in the pictures?
I found them at my grandma...

I think its about 60-70 years old. Please give me informations about the age and also if its rarely maybe with a ca. price.

Hopefully JoJo or someone will have more of an answer for you. I've asked a friend from Glasgow to inquire from some local whisky gents.

Reading the label -75 Proof 43 GL - and the back label stating 43 Vol - means that it most likely comes from the time of changeover from Imperial measure to Metric in Britain which happened in the 1970's. These details of strength in both styles was used for a few years so I can't be any more exact.
