Crown Royal 1964
I have a 26er of Crown Royal from 1964 unopened. It is in the original bag and box. I was wondering what it might be worth?

It's worth
Crown Royal is a blended whisky and a bottle from 1964 should be the same as one bottled today. Now for the label and bottle it may have changed and for a collector have some value. But a full bottle may fetch 10% over current retail.
Hope this helps |
Quote:
In 1964 Crown Royal was distilled at the Waterloo distillery. Whisky from this distillery has a lot of cachet as the distillery had a very good reputation and is no longer around. Nowadays Crown Royal is distilled in Gimli Manitoba. As well, the formula for Crown Royal has changed over the years. Gradually younger and younger whiskies have crept into the blend. In the 1960s the youngest whisky in Crown Royal was 10 years old and the various component whiskies ranged up to 30 years and sometimes older. The basic Crown Royal is now called Crown Royal Deluxe and there are 5 other versions, each more expensive and each older than the Deluxe. The bottle you have was the only Crown Royal available at the time it was made. |

If the is still on and the serial numbers are clear. It's worth anywhere between $10,000-$75,000

say that again?
I also have a bottle from 1964, 2 of the 4 seals are slightly torn, but the other 2 are completely in tact. It's in a purple bag, the date and serial number are clear & distinguishable. It states Waterloo-Ontario-Canada. Value?
