sorren - I remember being asked this question here on the Whisky.com Forum in the past regarding Johnnie Walker Swing and this was my response: Originally created in 1932, Johnnie Walker Swing is a sophisticated and complex blend of up to 35 individual whiskies. To achieve the sweet depth and fragrant flavor characteristic of the marque, Swing blends an intricate balance of both mature and young whiskies. Some of Swing’s malts have aged for many years to gain the sweet, rich depth of their sherry casks, while other younger whiskies are used to achieve its signature light and aromatic notes. It’s this intricate blending of ages and flavors that consistently reproduces the original taste developed by Sir Alexander Walker, grandson of John Walker. Swing, a very complex blend of up to 35 individual whiskies, uses mature whiskies for depth and sweetness, and requires some younger whiskies for its light and aromatic notes.
I will now see if I can have your particular bottle dated.... You can find other's comments here as well: http://whisky.com/forum/showthread.p...ighlight=swing |

Ha - Yea right! You might find out a few that are included, but for all that contributes into a blend - no one has access to that info - top secret, that's for sure!

Johnnie Walker Swing
sorren - a bit more info regarding Johnnie Walker Swing....This pack design was introduced at various dates throughout the 1970s in various markets. It didn't reach the UK until 1982, but the bottle in the UK was accompanied by a lined, golden carton. It was originally introduced in 1932 for transatlantic travel by boat, allowing the bottle to `swing' with the movement of the boat.:)

Thanks for all the info......:D:D

Hi, I too have the exact same JW Swing bottle as shown the OP's pictures. I think mine was purchased around 30 years ago. Can anyone provide a rough valuation on the above bottle?
