Bushmills

Jojo,

Based on the thread where you asked if I was attending a Bushmills event, I went to the store and dropped $17 on a bottle of Bushmills (just the basic white bottle).

I typically drink Jameson when I'm in a Irish whiskey mood, but I was very surprised with how much I liked the Bushmills! In fact, I can easily say that it is much, much better than anything close to it's price range! I wouldn't place it on the scale of a 12 year single malt, but it was definately sweet, smooth, with a crisp finish. It may be my newest low cost every-day (not literally) whiskey, it's definately going to give Jameson a run for it's money.

Good job Bushmills, keep up the good work.

And Jojo, thanks for the idea :)

We had one of our Whisky.com Ambassadors head to the Bushmills event in Denver Colorado a couple weeks ago. She really enjoyed the pairings. Here is her article: http://www.whisky.com/photos/bushmil...ver/index.html
