Corby's Distillery

Orginally the products were Distilled in Corbyville ON, along with Wisers products and others. Bought out in the mid-late eighties the products are still being sold and the Corby company and brands still are out there. I've attached a link for a 16page finnanical report and news letter from 2006 that gives you a nice overview of the company. I've also added Corby's current Home page for your viewing pleasure.

Wiser's Legacy

Speaking of Corbys. They have a new whisky called Wiser's Legacy to be released early in the new year. I am expecting a sample bottle to review to arrive in the mail any time and I will keep you up to date with the results of my review when I receive it.

The 'Tastings' review was very good.

Wiser's Legacy: My First Impression

As, I promised about a week ago, I have finished my preliminary assessment of Wiser's new Whisky, Legacy. I received my sample from Corbys just prior to Christmas and have been working hard to get to know the spirit.

Here is my introduction to this whisky on my Blog, which also contains a link to my first Impression tasting.
