Value of antique whiskey bottle???

Does anyone know the best way to obtain an appraisal of an antique whiskey bottle? Here are the details from the label, which is intact all the way around the bottle: The Blended Scotch Whiskey No. 0585896--The White Horse Cellar Estab. 1742--from the original recipe 1746. This bottle is dated February, 1754--4/5 quart. It is embossed on the front, back, and bottom. There is a circle around the embossing on the bottom of the bottle. There is no damage to the bottle, and the top does not screw on (it has a hinge-type metal top). There is approx. an inch of whiskey left in the bottle. Any input would be appreciated, as we are interested in selling it and don't know how to facilitate the process. Thanks in advance!

Simps - we can have your bottle dated, but as always need images. Be sure to include the label - clear and close up and the closure being used. As for value, contact mctears.com or bonhams.com - and keep us posted on your findings. As soon as I get pix from you, I'll request to have it dated. :)
