Thanks for the reply. As I inherited the bottle from my grandpa, I had no intention to know the value but would appreciate to know the the date of the bottle. My travel job in Asia Pacific allowed me to taste different kind of local wine and whiskey. Just to share with you, good whiskey is mixed with lemon tea and good wine is mixed with 7-up, a carbonated drink in China. That is how drinking whiskey is evolved in China. Cheers...yeoh

thanks for getting me back online, it's a way to pass some time while sitting waiting to be picked up from the hotel.
Just a thought but there's an awful lot of posts where all people are interested in is how much can they sell their bottles for rather than enjoying them or it it my old fashioned self coming to the fore
