I basicly want to get some old bottle/s and store them until I have paid my mortgage off in 15 years or more.
Which bottles would be wise to sit on? I am completely new to this sort of thing
Should I buy an Already old bottle and blow my budget on 1 bottle or mix it up a little?
I Have 1 bottle of 150th Birthday Jack Daniels already for some random reason
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Also my budget is about 1200 Australian for starters :(

Is jack even a decent bottle to age or someone told me wines were good but I don't drink that rubbish. I wanted something I could sit on and re-sell or if worse comes to worst I can drink it and still be happy :)
Jack Daniels is lame whiskey. Better rethink your strategy

While others may not believe that Jack is worth while collecting, it is still a option for many people. If you want to start collecting, give thought and consideration to the Medals Series or if you want to go all out try and get a decanter which is sealed, in box with unregistered tags.
If you are serious about collecting invest in a Jack Daniels Collectors Book which is available on Ebay from a Seller called Cowboy Jack. This will give you a full list of the bottles that are available to collect.
Only other comment I would make is that Whiskey will age better and could result in stronger returns based upon your purhcases. Be careful in your purchases, its similiar to that of the Stock Exchange, a return is not guaranteed.

Very good advice above. Be careful with the decanter bottles as they were not sealed well, and as I have learnt from experience if the seller doesn't pack well enough you end up losing half of the bottle.
Have a look on Facebook at the Jack Daniels Enthusiasts, buy, sell swap. There are lots of people on there that can give you a hand.
Also check out my listing to see if there is anything that you'd like to get you started.
