Hi all,

Have just stumbled across this site (not sure why it took so long - it's a fairly easy URL!) and was wondering if there were any other Aussie whisky fans here? Either fans of Aussie whisky, or whisky fans from Australia?

I'm from Sydney, love a good dram (Islay and Speyside, but really getting into World Whiskies in a bigger way lately) and recently started my own blog.

I don't work in the drinks industry at all (sometimes wish I did), so the blog is sort of a way for me to indulge my passion, give me an excuse to try the whiskies I've collected over the years (currently around 46 different malts and blends, including 15 'fiddichs). It's a hobby, and a way to connect with whisk(e)y enthusiasts around the world. I hope this isn't considered SPAM (please delete if so), but I'd love to hear what people think:

(Recent posts include a visit to the NZ Whisky Company in New Zealand, and tasting of a 40yo Glenfiddich, which was incredible!)
