I've recently tried Lagavulin 16 yr old and fell in love!

I've been drinking Glenlevit as my favorite until then.

Sadly, the Lagavulin is too expensive for me to buy on a normal basis(weekly or so). The one I had, just finished, was a gift for x-mas.

So I'm looking for a nice Islay single malt(willing to try a blend if highly recommended enough) that falls within the price range of $20-$35.
I usually pay about $22 for my 750ml of Glenlevit at a discount liquor.

Thanks guys! And new to the community btw, hope to post much more in the future!

I heard that Bowmore is good, you can pick up a 12-year for probably $35

I would highly recommend the LAPHROAIG 10 YEAR OLD . should be around ur price range and i like it much more than the lagavulin 16. Hate the bowmore 12.

I've been hearing a lot about LAPHROAIG lately. Noticed it was like $40 on amazon the other day. But Amazon isn't really the best price. I'll check out my store tonight for it! If it's not there or too expensive, I'll try Bowmore!

If you like the Lagavulin 16, one of my favorites, you may also like Ardbeg 10 and Laphroaig 10. Big differences, but many similarities too and I'll refrain from mentioning a couple others which are generally more expensive, but another to consider may also be the Laphroaig Quarter Cask.

The Laphroaig 10 is the best bang for your buck.
If you're on a really tight budget, check out the Black Bottle blend. It won't pack the same punch, but it's an Islay based blend.
