I have a bottle of Buchanans this was distilled in GLASGOW & LONDON and has the number 3190 printed on the front of the label.

Might help to know if this bottle will have some value ?

Also know if taste better after all this time and if you can drink, was always in vertical position

Hi there - we can probably have your bottle dated if you like, but will need you to upload photos.

As for taste, it will have likely changed a bit throughout the years because even the best sealed bottles eventually allows air to seep in... which can alter the taste of the spirit.

We found out from the Diageo Archive Department that the design of this bottle changed little over a period of many years - therefore they were unable to narrow down the date as much as they would have liked...but can state this bottle is from the mid 1950s – 1960s. :)
