Hi
I found a whiskey bottle in my late grandfathers cabinet. The label reads : Cromarty - Finest scotch whiskey
Produced and bottled in Scotland
Graeme McCloud and Sons (Spelling is correct)
Glasgow ML4 3AN Scotland
Bottled in Scotland
Product of Scotland
I can not find anything about this on the internet.
Would appreciate it if anyone can tell me more.
Thanks
We might be able to help - but as always - we need photos! Be sure to inlude one of the label - clear enough for us to read. Thanks!

I researched this brand some years ago and Graeme McLoud's Cromarty was [or possibly still is] owned by William Grants of Glenfiddich fame. For info they also shipped standard bottles with normal labels but I couldn't find anything other than standard age, i.e. no age quoted, so unless it states 12 years old on the jug you can't claim any age.
As to value you'de be better asking at oneof the auction houses as any value is only what someone else is willing to pay.

hi..
tank you for your fast awser, but i do not want to sell it.
i apreciated your research. but what im trying to compare is the value of the gift to send and return gift of the same value.
but if i canot avaliate the valor, i only can apreciated the sentimental valor of it, that was my father38 years ago that give him.
so will decided to gime my james martin 30 years.
its reasonable?
txs for the time you gave me.
best regards friend.
pedro - for a value, try contacting mctears.com or bonhams.com Also, I will reach out to my Glenfiddich contacts to see if I can obtain any info from them (thanks for the lead on that blenderm!)
