Ebuzz54,
Your "Spring-cap " bottle should date to between 1930 & 1960...this is the period the
'spring-cap' bottels were made by Haig & Haig.
The are some slight variations for each of the brand lines Haig & Haig products, such as
Pinch/Dimple, Five Star, Black & White, etc....but they all run about the same time period.
It would behandy to know which Brand of bottle you have, and as is always suggested on
whisky.com...Photos are a fairly critical element in dating a bottle.
Subtle changes in label design & wording used, along with notations of Royal Warrants,
and particular bottle design & neck sahpe are all important factors to consider in dating
a bottle for you.
If possible, send in a few clear pictures of the bottle showing the full bottle, and close-ups of the front label, and we should be able to get you with a 5-7 year date span.
*Additional dating can often be refined if we can see detailed photos of the Bottom of the
bottle, and any Tax Stamps/Seals applied to it.
Cheers,

Your bottle has a Plastic "screw-cap" closure, was made some time after 1973.
Bottels from the late 1950s-early 1970's used a Metal Screw-cap.
Bottle from the early 1920s-late 1950's used a Metal Spring-cap.
Market value is not much for either of the Screw-cap styles, often selling for
$38-$60 on eBay. (Noticed you quoted a seller asking $359 "ginaspinkcaddy")
Unfortunately alot of sellers mis-date thier bottles, and often ask much more
than they are selling for..."ginaspinkcaddy" is no exception, she is often at
least a decade off on her bottle dating, and starts her prices @ about 4-5
times the market price. However she is very willing to accept offers.
(Common selling strategy here - Mark it High, then 'discount' it heavily!)
For an accurate idea of what these actually sell for look at the closed
listings, and see what shas actually old and what didn't - Try this here:
