I have been reading this forum but haven't been able to find any information on the serial numbers on the bottom of the bottle. Does anyone have any idea what those mean? I read that the direction the guy is walking (left) means it's pre-1999 but the bottle itself looks much older. at least the 80s if not older.
the number on the bottom is:
sc 361
59 U8
We can have your bottle of Johnnie Walker Red dated, but will need photos. Register first here on the Whisky.com Forum and once your account is approved, you will be able to upload photos. Let us know if you need help. :)

The numbers on the bottom of the bottle are the glass manufacturers codes, SC361 defines the bottle size, shape, colour and closure type, 59 U8 means it was made by United Glass from mould number 59
