Hi,
I am hoping you can help with an item I would like to sell. I would like to get an idea of how much to ask and were to sell.
The first item is what apearrs to be a 1936 vial of Dimple Pinch Whisky. I say 1936 only because it is the year Md state tax was paid. I have taken pictures and will attach if I can.

Thanks,

Rayray

Thanks for the photos - we will see what we can find out. However, please keep in mind, we are only able to find out or at least get an idea of a date for your bottle. For a value, try McTears.com or Bonhams.com :)

I get the feeling it maynot be worth much. I have looked at this little bottle for more than thirty years just wondering what it might tast like. If the bottle was processed for state tax in 1936 and that point in time it was already 15 years old, then by now it is 91+ years old.
My life is so far down the toilet, I' just gona open it and enjoy!

Hi there! Here's what we found out: Using the photographs you provided, Diageo's Archive Department attempted to date the bottle. It appears to be a miniature, which has different labels to the full sized bottles - making it harder to date accurately. It has several features from 1920s and 1930s bottles, but due to the lack of the Haig coat of arms and a royal warrant, the bottle is likely older, from around 1916-1922. :)
