Uncorking a very special whisky, part of the cork remains in the neck of the bottle.
OK I could push the obstacle into the bottle, trusting the cork does not disintegrate, drain the Whisky into a glass decanter, and chuck the empty bottle. However, this is not any old Whisky, it is a very old Whisky, and I would prefer to keep it the way it was first bottled.
My Q is this, any idea how I can remove this irritation, keep the Whisky in original bottle and not leave small particles of cork in the bottle.
Thanking you in anticipation.
