What is the best tasting glass? Is it the Glencairn Glass? Or a Riedel? Let me know your thoughts...
-Daniel
Daniel - while the Glencairn is always referred to as the "right" or "perfect" class for Scotch, my favorite type of glass used for Scotch is the snifter....always has been! However, I don't hold on to to the glass and 'warm' it up. I only pick it up to take sips. This works for me.

The best 'tasting' glass is the one with the whisky in it. The others are just for show. :)

From the Lowlands, Islay, Campbeltown, and the Highlands of the rugged but pristine beauty of Scotland, we offer a Scotch Whisky etched distillery glass for everyone. The elegant but sturdy Glencairn Glass, and the delicate and elegant Glencairn Nosing Copita will put any whisky lover in the right "spirit". And for those who want other choices, we offer exclusive designs by www.ScotchWhiskyGlass.Com as well.
Enjoy. Slainte Mhath.

Glencairn is the best by far IMO because it feels strong in the hand, equal to any whisky, especially the peated expressions. The footed variety like a mini brandy or wine glass seem too fragile to hold Scotland's water of life.
