Hi, can anyone help with any information regarding Teacher's 60 reserve stock whisky?

I'm clearing my late father in law's house & have found 20 or so unopened bottles of whisky (don't know how long he had them) & wondred if this brand was of any value, as I've never seen it before. I have to sell the whiskies & would be grateful if anyone has any information.

Thanks.

Whisky does not continue to mature once it is bottle and therefore would not gain value unless you found a collector that might be interested in the bottles. Otherwise, it is only worth what was paid for it. Sorry for not having better news.

You're welcome to post some photos of what you have here on the Whisky.com Forum to see if anyone has an interest. If you decide to do this, please let me know if you need assistance with the photos. Keep in mind you will have to register, but no worries there, it's a simple registration process.

Teacher's 60 was only produced for 2 or 3 years in the mid 1980's and is usually collected.

As the label says it's made up of 60% single malts and 40% single grains and only sold for about 3 years. The market for blended whiskies is quite flat just now with a lot not being sold at teh last auction. If I were you I'd maybe try eBay but remember that you're selling the bottle as a collectors item not for the whisky
