So, my great grandpa died, and I found a bunch of unopened bottles of alcohol.

SO, would anyone happen to know how much the following might be worth?

White Horse Scotch Whisky:
EFG
No. 134834
I can't find a date on it anywhere.

Johnnie Walker Red Label
86.8 Proof - 4/5 Quart
I can't find a date anywhere.

Seagrams V.O. Canadian Whisky
Ones from 1964 and another is from 1965

Any help would be appreciated.

We can the bottle of White Horse & Johnnie Walker dated for you, but need photos. It's not likely what you have is worth a lot of money. Have you considered just enjoying them yourself?

Well, personally, I would love to just drink them, but my grandma (his daughter) wants to know if they are worth anything. I mean, I seriously doubt they are worth much. I've been looking around the internet and it seems to me they aren't worth much, but she wants to know for sure.
I only have pictures of the Johnnie Walker right now, because my digital camera died and I have to wait for the battery to charge before I can get them off the camera.
Oh, I'll post pictures in a minute, I have to re-size them.

Thanks for the photos - we'll have them dated, but probably won't know anything until sometime next week.

Your bottle of White Horse EFG No. 134834 has been dated to be from the 1960s and the Johnnie Walker Red from 1968. :D

Just from all the info on it , I've never really seen one filled with so much info and artwork....interesting .

You took offense to my comment ??

Wud they still be drinkable? I'm in the same boat.
Found a whole bunch of unopened whisky and other spirits.
Not sure of age or if properly stored over the years.
Could be from 60's or 70's too.
Do they go bad or get spoiled?

Hi, I'm trying to find out how much my 1964 unopened bottle of whisky is worth or if it is worth anything at all.
What is on the bottle:
Seagram's V.O.
Canadian Whisky
A Blend
of rare selected whiskies
Distilled, Aged, Blended and bottled under the supervision of the Canadian Government
THIS WHISKY IS SIX YEARS OLD
Blended and bottled by
JOSEPH E. SEAGRAM & SONS, LIMITED
Waterloo-ontario-canada-distillers since 1857
CANADA'S FINEST
Imported.

this bottle is still sealed with 1964 on it. If you know anything please let me know. Thank you.

I have recently aquired a bottle of Dewar's Victoria Vat scotch. I know that it is older than 1954 because its name was changed in 54 from victoria vat. The bottle is still sealed and hasnt lost any to evaporation. It even has an Internal Revenue tracking number. Can anyone tell me if what i have has value. If so, how much and how can i acurately date it?

Jayson

Wow that's a great Idea! The thought that old liquor may be worth something never occurred to me. My grandpa has a bunch of old unopened whiskey bottles in his basement. If they aren't worth anything it would at least be cool to see how old they are!:D

So far people have added bottles they have found and a few people say they are interested in buying. But I have yet to see anyone anyhow much those bottles are worth. My mom wants to sell or drink hers too.

Hi,

I have a unopened/sealed bottle of Prohibition era Bushmill whiskey (still dark color, was stored in a closet). Do you have any idea what the value is?
