View Full Version : Weird Bottle of Whisky

I recently bought circa 130 - 150 full size bottles of whisky that belonged to a deceased collector.

I haven't counted them all yet, just literally got them to my home, which took several trips in the car.

Amongst the collection there is a strange full size bottle of whisky, with what appears to be lead/pewter decoration on the front. Kind of a weird aztec interlocking symbol.

Can anyone identify the distiller?

Any help appreciated.

Apologies for the photo quality, was taken just now on my blackberry.

This is a tough one! Try sending your photos to either mctears.com or bonhams.com I did consult with an expert who told me it's not likely even whisky - or even drinkable. Also mentioned is that whisky bottles have to have some type of identity and this one does not have any. Maybe it's from Mexico or South America trying to look like an Aztec type bottle. ?? Good luck and keep us posted on your findings. :D
